2001-
2007
Founded in 2001 as a non-profit community project the Jazz and Blues Project was funded until 2007 by two Arts Council 'Awards for All' grants and a 'Community Champions' award
The Project ran workshops and open jam sessions at Norwich Arts Centre enabling a generation of new players, including award winning trumpeter Freddie Gavita to hone their skills in a supportive and inclusive live environment
2015-
2019
The 'First Wednesday Club' an innovative multi-arts Jam incorporating live music, visual art, poetry, film, animation and live ceramic creation. National, international and local artists contributed to the collaborations. This project was supported by Platform Twelve in Norwich
2020-
2024
Support for Artists during the pandemic livestream sessions funded by donations - visual art and dance collaborations the dare to dream project and the webcam sessions - currently we are pledging the proceeds from the livestream donations to our Young Artists support fund
